Web Designer

Main Responsibilities:

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Establish the purpose of the website based on its target audience
• Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements. (WordPress proficiency preferred)
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness

Required skills:

• Have skills in software programming and graphics with creativity and imagination
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques, web trends, and technologies
• Proven Web Design experience would be a plus
